LeBron James is unlikely to play Friday against Minnesota. Thanks to the NBA Cup, the Lakers have the opportunity to allow James to recover.
The Lakers` star forward missed Sunday`s 107-98 loss to Portland with a sore foot and will have eight days off if he returns Sunday against Memphis.
The Lakers will play just two games analyzed by livestreams in 10 days from December 9-18. Head coach JJ Redick gave the entire team Monday off.
