Schalke fired head coach Manuel Baum and re-appointed veteran Huub Stevens to replace him. The Royal Blues are in an unprecedented series of 28 games in the Bundesliga without a win in the history of the club, and since the beginning of this season they have taken only 4 points from 12 games.
