The Monaco team continues its successful run in League One after recording a third success in its last four games. Tonight, the Monegasque squared Lille 5-1 at home in the 19th round. So coach Leonardo Jardim`s boys took a rematch from Lille on Tuesday for a 0-3 loss to the League Cup tournament.










The duel of Louis II started off great for the away team, who found the score in the 13th minute through Victor Osimen.





He was left behind by the hosts` defense and came face to face with Benjamin Lecomt and overcame it by 1-0. By the end of the first half, however, the hosts had come to a complete turnaround. In the 23rd minute, Gelson Martins scored similarly, and the goal was made by Whisam Ben Yeder. Six minutes later, Keita Balde led Monaco forward with a header after a cross from the flank.





In the second part Monaco continued its good game. In the 53rd minute, Ben Yeder made a name for himself in the goal line, knocking the ball at Mike Menian`s door after Lil`s guard had previously managed to hit a header with the head of the frame. In the 56th minute Ben Yeder received the ball into the penalty area and shot Lil`s goal for 4:1.





As time went on, Camille Glick formed the final via register for football tips result. So Monaco has accumulated 28 points and is already seventh in the standings. Lille was 4th with 31.
